Cupping – Suction cups can be very useful in treating the soft tissues of the body when hands on techniques are failing to make in roads on the condition of the patients soft tissues, this gets a similar effect from the body but its slightly different due to the cups drawing the tissues away from the body.

Dry Needling & Electro Needling – Uses acupuncture needles to release of muscle trigger points, trigger points can be responsible for a patients pain and can cause referral to other areas of the patients body. Myotherapists have extensive knowledge and experience in treating trigger points and therefore the use of Dry Needling is extremely safe

Joint Articulation / Mobilization – This is a gentle technique, its aim is to restore normal motion into the joints that are problematic, this is achieved by providing repetitive motions to the joint and its restrictions, it aims to get the joint back to a normal free resting position.

TENS therapy – Tens is used to reduce the amount of pain that a patient is currently feeling, a light electrical feeling is felt on the skin, this aims to prevent the pain from being felt in the area. Tens can also be used to manually 'pulse' the muscles and help the patient regain normal use of them once again.

Stretching – This is used to help re allign your body and posture to a normal state and release any 'tightness' in the muscles, the goal is to allow your body to work as efficiently as possible. Different types of stretching may be used to best help your body at different times.

Corrective Exercise – this is a very important part of all treatments because it helps to strengthen your body and prevent a re-occurance of the same problem. It can include one on one sessions, after treatment exercises or a home program that is developed for your needs.
